Hey,
welcome to my little corner of the internet! I’m Schwegler, and I’m really glad you’ve stopped by.
By day, you’ll find me wrangling data as a Database Administrator. It’s a role I’ve grown into after spending over a decade as a Full Stack Web Developer, so I’ve seen a fair bit of how the digital world ticks from different angles. Way back when, I graduated from the University of Georgia with a BA in Political Science – which, as you can imagine, makes for some interesting perspectives on the world, especially since I (thankfully!) kicked a pretty serious cable news habit.
When I’m not immersed in the world of tech, I’m probably indulging in my love for all things British (sorry, i blame my grandma for letting me stay up late watching PBS) and, I’ll even admit, I’m a big fan of a good UK soap (you know the ones!). I’m also what you might call a “patient gamer.” I’ve got a PS4-era backlog that I’m diligently working through, always on the lookout for a great gaming experience that doesn’t break the bank.
Beyond that, you might find me catching up on the latest in pro wrestling or scrolling through sites like Deadline.com to keep up with the ever-evolving media landscape.
Ultimately, this blog is just a space for me to share thoughts, ideas, and bits of life as they come. My hope is that if you’re a friend reading this, you’ll feel a bit more connected. And if you’re new here, I hope you find something interesting or at least a little entertaining.
Thanks for dropping by!
